I posted the following deviation last year sometime:
[link]At the time I put it in the 'photography > people > fashion' category
There it stayed until the beginning of this month when a mod moved it to 'photography > macro > human' (macro??) *shrugs* whatever
But then on the 13th another mod moved it to 'photography > people > closeups'
on the 16th another mod decided to move it back to the 'macro > human' spot
BUT WAIT - THERE'S MORE!!
On the 26th yet another mod decided to pop to to 'people > emotive'
*laughs*
Ok I really don't care where it is, or how often it gets moved....but seriously, it's a little comical isn't it? For one shot to get moved around so many times by the mods because the spots they choose for it are apparently so wrong?
Just goes to show how subjective this whole category thing is. I wonder is there really a need for mods to be so worried about what category a piece of art is deemed to be by it's creator? At the basest level don't these 'mods' have something better to do with their time?
Sometimes they'd give you the definition of the categories they want your deviation to be in and though you reason out as to why you've put your own work in the category you've chosen, they'd move it anyway.
Oh well...
I guess my work isn't that good. LOL
JUST KIDDING, MODS. I LOVE YOU.
.... don't... ban me, or anything. O___O
surely the mods time would be better spent following up on ripped art & not-art rather than moving pieces from category to category..... or even learning whats actually meant to be in those categories before they play like that....
People/Closeups
Umm yeah, geniuses at work here. Better watch out.
I never know where to post my stuff. One day its photography next its Photo manipulation
Than I post a different image but with identical processing and it gets moved from photo manipulation to photography.
Seriously now, I know art is subjective but can we have a couple guidelines somewhere?
